Two new additions to the Human Resources Department of IdISBa

Antònia Salas Cánovas and Gabriel Mercadal Brito have recently joined the Human Resources Department of IdISBa as management technicians and will work together with Maria Teresa Seguí, who joined the institution last 16 December.

 

Their usual workplaces will be located on the ground floor of Building S at Son Espases University Hospital.

 

These will be their responsibilities:

 

Antònia Salas Cánovas (Human Resources Management Technician):

 

  • Apply the institution’s labour policy.
  • Payroll processing and review.
  • Process and manage human resources procedures (leave, permits, holidays, multiple employment, etc.).
  • Respond to requests and queries from internal and affiliated staff.
  • Collaborate in the management of incidents, queries or labour-related, legal or judicial procedures, etc.
  • Collaborate in the management of all types of human resources recruitment, including new hires and renewals of existing staff, as well as in the organisation of staff selection processes.
  • Control and filing of documentation related to the Human Resources Area.
  • Follow-up of contracts, extensions and terminations, etc.
  • Collaborate in budget preparation related to personnel costs together with the projects department, as well as in the review of compensation forecasts or other expenses.
  • Monitoring, supervision and implementation of corrective measures related to occupational risk prevention and the coordination of business activities with the different centres and organisations in which the Foundation carries out its research.
  • Provide support, when necessary, to the economic management and administrative procurement area.
  • Follow-up of the Institution’s Human Resources Plan.

This contract is funded under project GESTIÓ C/01 GREAT, which is co-financed by the Funds to Promote Sustainable Tourism corresponding to the Extraordinary Annual Plan 2023, of the Minister for Culture and Sports, under file ITS2023-121 “GREAT-IDISBA: Generate-Research Excellence and Advanced Therapies in IdiSBa”.

 

 

Gabriel Mercadal Brito (Human Resources Management Technician):

 

  • Apply the institution’s labour policy.
  • Process payroll payments.
  • Process and manage human resources procedures (leave, permits, holidays, multiple employment, etc.).
  • Respond to requests and queries from internal and affiliated staff.
  • Collaborate in the management of incidents, queries or labour-related, legal or judicial procedures, etc.
  • Collaborate in the management of all types of human resources recruitment, including new hires and renewals of existing staff, as well as in the organisation of staff selection processes.
  • Control and filing of documentation related to the Human Resources Area.
  • Collaborate in budget preparation related to personnel costs.
